Adipurush trailer: Prabhas and Kriti Sanon’s epic mythological film promises spectacular watch; fans anticipate blockbuster release

Prabhas and Kriti Sanon’s  much-awaited film, “Adipurush,” has released its final trailer, creating a buzz among fans. The film is set to hit the big screens on June 16, 2023. Prior to its release, the second trailer has been unveiled on YouTube, showcasing the powerful chemistry between Raghav (played by Prabhas) and Janaki (played by Kriti Sanon). Prabhas has garnered appreciation for his portrayal of the character Shriram, with his expressions resembling the image of Lord Ram. Notably, Kriti Sanon has also received accolades for her role as Mata Sita.

The second trailer of “Adipurush” is packed with VFX, background music, and intense action, all of which can attract audiences to watch the film on the big screen. The trailer has already gone viral on YouTube, generating significant attention. The second trailer of “Adipurush” begins with the abduction of Mata Sita by Ravan, where Lord Shriram sets out to rescue her with a resounding cry. Accompanied by the Vanar Sena, Lord Ram embarks on a journey towards Sri Lanka. The trailer showcases breathtaking action scenes and impressive VFX. When fans witness these scenes in 3D on the big screen, it promises to be even more entertaining. Interestingly, the second trailer did not reveal Saif Ali Khan’s look as Ravan, possibly to avoid any controversy.

This three-minute trailer has not only captivated fans with Lord Ram’s character but also with the powerful action sequences of Hanuman. “Adipurush” is set to have a grand release in five languages – Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam – on June 16, following the cancellation of its premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival on June 13. The film’s release is highly anticipated by Prabhas’ fans, who are ecstatic about the upcoming film after the disappointing performances of his previous films, “Saaho” and “Radhe Shyam.” The fans have gone all out to make the pre-release event special for their favorite star.

All about ‘Adipurush’

Directed by Om Raut, “Adipurush” is a mythological film based on the epic Ramayana. Prabhas plays the role of Raghava, Saif Ali Khan portrays Lankesh (Ravan), and Kriti Sanon takes on the role of Janaki (Mata Sita). Sunny Singh and Devdatta Nage will be seen as Lakshmana and Bajrang Bali, respectively. The cast also includes Vatsal Sheth, Sonal Chauhan, and Trupti Toradmal. The film was made with a massive budget of Rs 500 crore. When the teaser of “Adipurush” was released in 2022, it faced criticism for its visual effects and computer graphics. Consequently, the film’s release was postponed to rework the graphics.
