Day6: With JYP Entertainment, DAY6 intends to carry on. The four members of the boy band DAY6 had all their contracts with the agency renewed, it was disclosed on September 26. The boy band has trusted JYP Entertainment with their future after working with the organization for the past seven years since their debut in 2015.
To inform the group’s followers of the same, JYP Entertainment issued a statement.
“DAY6 members Sungjin, Young K, Wonpil, and Dowoon have all renewed their contracts with us. We plan to continue our meaningful partnership together based on the foundation of deep trust between DAY6, a group with a signature sound, and JYP Entertainment, which has a lot of experience in band management.” The agency also stated that the company would serve as a reliable home for DAY6’s future and will do everything possible to help the band rise higher.

It is an important milestone for the boy band, who intend to continue on their current course while adding new enjoyable components, beginning with the reintroduction of the group activities now that Sungjin has returned from serving his compulsory military service. On August 31, the group’s subunit DAY6 (Even of Day) made an unexpected reappearance with the single ‘Darling on the Beach.’

DAY6 began on September 7, 2015, with six members. Junhyeok departed in February 2016, and Jae declared his separation on December 31, 2021, since both dissolved their contracts for personal issues. The events of DAY6 are anticipated by fans.
