The political developments of Rajasthan are getting patchy every day. The Congress high command, trapped in Gehlot’s magic, wants to change the CM every now and then and in this sequence, Pilot’s race from Delhi to Jaipur has started increasing.
Pilot’s meeting with the MLAs of the Gehlot camp is raising the political temperature of Rajasthan, but no one is getting the flurry of internal talks. The question is whether Pilot is giving him the message of Delhi Durbar by meeting the warlord MLAs close to Gehlot or whether Pilot has any plan of his own to bring him into his camp. After meeting many MLAs including Khachariyawas, Pilot returned to Delhi and gave air to political agitation in Jaipur.
Pilot returned to Delhi on Tuesday and on the same day Rahul Gandhi took a two-day break from the Bharat Jodo Yatra to meet Sonia Gandhi in Mysore. It is also being speculated that the Congress high command wants to take back the command of Rajasthan from Gehlot. But what would be the right move to change the chief minister just one year before the elections, Congress has done this with Captain Amarinder Singh in the Punjab elections and the result is in front of everyone, in such a situation, Gehlot has become a challenge not only for Pilot but also for the Congress high command.
In the Congress, the rebel voice of 102 MLAs has raised questions on Gehlot’s loyalty, in such a situation, the Congress is expressing full confidence in Pilot. He was the President of Rajasthan Congress and he worked hard to get the party back in power. At that time, the chief ministerial candidate Pilot had to be satisfied with the post of deputy CM. But in 2022, the situation is different, this time the split in the Congress is clearly visible, so the path of Sachin Pilot will not be easy.
