Diwali Party: Bollywood is getting ready to throw a big party for Diwali. Even this year, stars were seen going to a lot of events under the same roof and making the most of their time. This year, celebrities hung out a lot and surely had a wonderful time too. Karan Johar’s 50th birthday party was a lit occasion, Kareena’s birthday party where many stars seemed to have enjoyed a lot, and Alia Bhatt’s wedding and baby shower are just a few examples.
In Bollywood, Diwali parties are usually hosted by Shah Rukh Khan and his wife Gauri Khan, the Bachchan family, Anil Kapoor and his wife Sunita Kapoor, Ekta Kapoor and Shilpa Shetty, and Karan Johar, of course. These are well-known names at the party. Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra are throwing a party for their friends and families this year, but Shah Rukh Khan, the Bachchans, and Karan Johar are keeping things low-key. They will be invited to the parties that other famous people are throwing, but they won’t be throwing one themselves.
Stars who don’t throw Diwali party
Karan Johar won’t have a party this time because his house is under construction. Anil Kapoor has his own reasons, the most important of which are the safety of his daughter Sonam Kapoor’s newborn son Vayu and the fear of Covid. So, Anil is not sure if he wants to throw a party. His wife Sunita recently asked all the women to come to her house to celebrate Karwa Chauth.
Celebrities who host Diwali parties
Manish Malhotra will also have a big Diwali party at his home, along with Raj Kundra, Shilpa Shetty, and Ekta Kapoor. Everyone from Karan Johar to Kareena, Arjun Kapoor to Kriti Sanon, is likely to go to Manish Malhotra’s Diwali party. The next big party will be at Ramesh Taurani’s house, and his list of guests is as big as the casts of his movies. Everyone on the A-list will be at his big Diwali party, from Vicky-Katrina to Salman Khan and Ranbir Kapoor.
This year, actresses Kriti Sanon, Taapsee Pannu, and Bhumi Pednekar will also all have parties.
