The report claimed that as of June 30, less than one percent of Microsoft’s 221,000 employees have lost their jobs after the layoffs. According to the report, the company laid off about 1 percent of its 180,000 well-positioned employees in offices and product divisions in July as part of regular restructuring.
However, giving information about this, the company said that very few employees were laid off in July. The company said in a statement, “Today we have terminated the roles of people from very few positions. Like all companies, we regularly evaluate our business preferences and make structure adjustments accordingly.” Also, the company did not give information about the number of layoffs.
