Emotions Matter: A small gesture of kindness can make big difference in someone’s life. One such gesture shown by an employee at an eatery at Botanical Garden metro station in Uttar Pradesh’s Noida will certainly warm up your heart. The incidence involves a small girl and a generous Burger King employee and goes on to prove that humanity is still not dead and that all is not lost.
Hungry child
Recently a little girl turned up at the Burger King outlet to have a burger. The only problem was that she had only Rs 10 with her while the burger would cost her Rs 90. The child was hungry and the employee at the counter could make out. He quietly gave her the burger, took Rs 10 from her and paid the rest Rs 80 from his own pocket.
An onlooker who was keenly watching all this, caught the gesture on his camera and soon the video went viral.
Reward comes soon
And as they say, no act of kindness, however small, is ever wasted. Soon Burger King India tracked down the employee and rewarded him for bringing some cheer to yhr hungry child. In a Twitter post, Burger King thanked the employee named Dheeraj Kumar with a small token of appreciation.
“Mr. Deepak Yadav, our Head of Operations, North, held a felicitation ceremony in appreciation of Dheeraj and celebrated his spirited gesture to a tiny soul in need,” read a part of the Twitter post.
