Actress Janhvi Kapoor is currently busy promoting her film Mili. Recently, she spoke about her mother and the relationship between the actress and her mother. Janhvi also told about the relationship with Director Gauri Shinde. Jahvi’s mother and late actress Sridevi worked with Gauri in her debut, English Vinglish in 2012. The film managed to impress the audience and minted a good amount at the box office and its one of the best films of Sridevi. Recently, the team of English Vinglish celebrated 10 years of the film and remembered the legendary actress. After working with Sridevi, the director is planning to work with Sridevi’s daughter Janhvi Kapoor in her next movie.
Gauri told in an Interview that she is discussing scripts with the actress. Janhvi also told about her excitement about collaborating with Gauri. Recently, the star remembered the time on the sets of English Vinglish. During the conversation, Janhvi also revealed that her mom always wanted her to work with Gauri. She also shared that Gauri feels like a family to Janhvi.
She said, “I remember so many times mom would tell me, ‘I hope you get to work with her (Gauri). I wish, I really dream.’ It was like a dream for mom that I would work with Gauri. I am really close to her. Gauri feels like home. She is like family. English Vinglish was very special.”
