PM Modi gave Mata Ni Pachedi gift to UK PM Rishi Sunak. This is a handmade cloth from Gujarat, which is offered in the shrines of the temple in which the Mother Goddess resides. The name is derived from the Gujarati word ‘mata’ meaning ‘mother goddess’, ‘ni’ meaning ‘belonging to’ and ‘pachedi’ meaning ‘background’.
