Turkey: Capital, Ankara was struck by an earthquake measuring 6 on the Richter scale at 6:38 this morning. Around 186 kilometres to the west-northwest of Ankara is where the earthquake started.

National Center for Seismology informs
The earthquake occurred 10 km beneath the surface of the earth.
This occurred two days after a 5.6 magnitude earthquake briefly shook Java, the largest island in Indonesia, on Monday afternoon, killing at least 268 people and injuring over 700 more.
The meteorology and geophysics service (BMKG) reported that the earthquake on Monday impacted Cianjur, which is located approximately 75 kilometres southeast of Jakarta, at a depth of 10 kilometres (6.2 miles), adding that there was no threat of a tsunami.
