Harry & Meghan: As the upcoming docu-series on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle starts streaming on Netflix on December 8, its just released new trailer is explosive as it sees the couple discussing their exit from the royal family and the circumstances that led to it. Earlier, Netflix released a teaser last week that raised quite an eyebrow.
Titled Harry & Meghan, the series will release in two volumes with first part coming out on December 8.

How Royal women are hounded
The series will see Harry and Meghan discussing their marriage and how the royal women have suffered and how they were hounded by the British press, with footage of Princess Diana being mobbed by the media and also that of Meghan Markle .
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped down in 2020 and shifted base to the United States. Harry narrates how attitudes to the couple changed following their wedding.
“There’s a hierarchy of the family… There’s leaking, but there’s also planting of stories… It’s a dirty game… The pain and suffering of women marrying into this institution, there’s a feeding frenzy,” Harry says in the trailer. Visuals show him and Meghan braving the paparazzi. Archival footage also show how Princess Diana is shielding herself from media glare.
Harry he says, “The pain and suffering of women marrying into this institution, this feeding frenzy. I was terrified, I didn’t want history to repeat itself.” Shots show Meghan getting emotional and breaking down during the interview.
“I realised they’re never going to protect you,” a tearful Meghan says while someone comments on the racially motivated attacks that were levelled against her in the press. Harry talks about his mother’s tragic end. “I was terrified, I didn’t want history to repeat itself. No one knows the full truth. We know the full truth.”

‘Unprecedented and in-depth’ look
Harry & Meghan promises to take an “unprecedented and in-depth” look into the couple who “share the other side of their high-profile love story” over six episodes.
While the first part releases on December 8, the second part will stream on December 15. The trailer concludes with Prince Harry saying, “No one knows the full truth. We know the full truth.”
Earlier, in an interview with Oprah Winfrey, Harry and Meghan spoke about why they decided to distance themselves from the royal family. They also spoke how their son Archie was discriminated against and also about how Harry’s security was revoked without warning.
Harry also appeared in an Apple TV+ documentary film about mental health, in which he spoke about about how both he and Meghan were affected by the controversy.
