In Uttar Pradesh (Uttar Pradesh), the crowd pelted stones at the police during vehicle checking in Kakrala town of Alapur police station area of Badaun district. After the incident of stone pelting, SSP SP City SP Dehat along with the police force of several police stations reached the spot and pacified the matter by convincing the crowd. The police have started questioning some people who pelted stones in custody.
What is the whole matter?
Police was checking vehicles in Kakrala town on Friday evening. Meanwhile, there was an altercation with a young man, after which some people came and started protesting at the intersection. The police tried to pacify the people, but the crowd pelted stones at the police and soon there was a ruckus. The police who came to the rescue also lathi-charged the crowd and retaliated by pelting stones. There is also news of many vehicles breaking down and many people getting injured during stone pelting.
SSP Dr. OP Singh said in his statement that the police had stopped a vehicle during vehicle checking, then he asked why this checking is being done. After this the local people gathered and pelted stones at the police force and blocked the road.

Charges are being registered in this context and action will be taken after identifying them through the footage.
He further told that the brother of the person who was checked has been arrested.
The SSP said that for the purpose of maintaining peace and order in the town, the police and PAC are continuously patrolling on foot. People who spread anarchy will not be spared under any circumstances.
