Indian cinema is celebrating the 100th birth anniversary of legendary actor Dilip Kumar. Many celebrities and veteran actors attended the event on Saturday. It was an emotional moment for veteran actor Saira Banu as she remembered the legacy of husband Dilip Kumar. Saira Banu attended the film festival organized by Film Heritage Foundation to celebrate her late husband and legendary actor Dilip Kumar’s 100th birth anniversary. Saira arrived in the festival and after seeing the poster of Dilip Kumar there, she touched it gently. It was totally visible that Saira is sad throughout the event as she was in tears on the red carpet.
The two day film festival ‘Hero of Heroes film festival’ kick started in Mumbai on Saturday. Many celebrities attended the event to celebrate the legendary actor, the celebrities who marked their attendance were, Waheeda Rahman, Ramesh Sippy, Asha Parekh, Divya Dutta and many others.

Saira spoke about the event and she told, “The name “Dilip Kumar Hero Of Heroes” is the most fitting one to honour India’s finest actor. Since I first saw him in technicolour in “Aan” when I was 12 years old, he has been my favourite hero. It will be wonderful to see him again on the big screen, as he has been in my life.” During the film festival, the famous films of Dilip Kumar will be screened over 30 cinema halls and 20 cities across the country.
