Deepika Padukone is making us all proud by being selected to reveal the FIFA World Cup 2022 trophy alongside Iker Casillas prior to Sunday’s final match. Since last night, photos of the actor and the former Spanish goalkeeper have gone viral. Deepika and her beauty have wowed fans. Ranveer Singh, one of her greatest fans and spouse, was also present at the stadium. He came to Instagram to share a few photos of his wife uncovering the trophy, and his delight to witness this momentous occasion was palpable in his stories.

In his first Instagram story, Ranveer Singh posted a video of the stadium and the large screen, where Deepika Padukone is seen presenting the FIFA World Cup trophy. Ranveer posted on Social media, “Bursting with pride. That’s my baby.” In the following article also the video continues and we can hear Ranveer saying, ‘love you Deepu!’. “Just check her out!” he added. “Sparkling on the largest stage in the world!” The next story has him saying, ‘world cup trophy ki sath meri trophy’. He also uploaded a video of himself hugging Deepika as they both witnessed the last victory moment.

Padukone will be seen in a cameo role in the film Cirkus, which will be released in theatres on December 23. Padukone will next be seen in Yash Raj Films’ action movie Pathaan, with Shah Rukh Khan. Later, in 2023, she will co-star with Prabhas in an unnamed film directed by Nag Ashwin. She will also co-star with Hrithik Roshan in Siddharth Anand’s action movie Fighter in 2024.
