Fog Update: North Indian states are experiencing the agony of cold and fog. For the next two days, there is an orange alert for intense fog in Delhi, Uttarakhand, Bihar, and Punjab, according to the Meteorological Department. The majority of North India is experiencing a drop in temperature. The morning of December 21 is covered in a thick fog in the national capital Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Punjab. A red signal for dense to extremely dense fog has been issued by the Meteorological Department for Punjab and Himachal Pradesh.
Most of North India has experienced a drop in temperature. Visibility is frequently less than 100 metres due to the severe fog in Delhi-NCR.
Delhi
IMD has predicted that the national capital region will get engulfed in the thick blanket of fog just like last couple of days. The start of week has been very rough and it is likely to continue for upcoming days as well. As per the latest fog update, visibility will drop upto 050M during the morning.
Lucknow
Uttar Pradesh’s capital Lucknow is predicted to remain as same as Delhi. IMD predicts that visibility will drop upto 050M in the morning. However, it will get better as the day proceeds. Earlier predictions for nights are that visibility will then drop upto 600M.
Amritsar
Situation of dense fog will prevail over the city of Amritsar. IMD has predicted that the visibility drop of up to 100M wil continue in the city. As the day will get close to afternoon, the situation will get better.
Jaipur
Despite the rest of North India getting engagedin massive thick blankets of fog, Jaipur has been predicted to remain fog-free by the IMD.
