Rishabh Pant, the wicket-keeper batsman for India, was taken to the hospital following an accident involving the car he was riding in on National Highway 58 in the Haridwar region. According to what is known, the accident occurred between Manglaur and Narsan in the Haridwar district early on Friday morning, December 30.
Pant had his initial treatment at the Roorkee Civil Hospital before being sent to the Max Hospital in Dehradun, according to sources. VVS Laxman, the head of the NCA, tweeted that Pant was safe.
Rishabh Pant was reportedely driving alone
Pant was driving his BMW when it crashed into the wall at the Narsan border and took fire, according to Uttarakhand DGP Ashok Kumar. According to the Uttarakhand Director General of Police, Pant claimed he lost control of the vehicle. Rishabh Pant, who was driving alone when the accident happened, had to shatter the window to get out of the vehicle.
Pant sustained wounds on his leg and forehead. Superintendent of Police Dehat Swapna Kishore Singh arrived at the location after receiving the information. Rishabh Pant has been referred to Max Dehradun because, according to Dr. Sushil Nagar, chairman of Saksham Hospital, his condition is stable right now.
Witnesses said that Rishabh’s car hit the railing and started fire. After much struggle, the fire was somehow controlled. At the same time, Rishabh Pant was rushed to Saksham Hospital on Delhi Road after suffering serious injuries in the accident.
Rishabh Pant was dropped from Sri Lanka series
Both the ODI and T20I squads for India’s series against Sri Lanka did not include Rishabh Pant. Because the BCCI wanted to give the Delhi wicketkeeper a break before the two-match Test series, he was not selected to play in the one-day internationals against Bangladesh.
