Dolphin electric car: With the launch of the BYD 2023 Dolphin, electric car company BYD, which is backed by Warren Buffett, has added a new vehicle to its lineup. The “Marine Aesthetics” design of the company is on the electric car. It is powered by LFP Blade batteries and can go from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.5 seconds.

BYD 2023 Dolphin electric car features
The design of the BYD 2023 Dolphin electric car is said to be based on the company’s “Marine Aesthetics” language, which was created by Chief Designer Wolfgang Egger. The vehicle is 4070mm long, 1770mm wide, and 1570mm tall. It has a wheelbase of 2700mm. Depending on the model, it will run on 16-inch or 17-inch wheels. The electric car comes in the colours Atlantis Grey, Beibei Grey, Cheese Yellow, Pupu Pink, Surfing Blue, Taro Purple, and Black.

What is the range of the BYD Dolphin?
The electric car has a front permanent magnet synchronous motor that gives it power. It will come in two power levels: 70 kW/180 Nm and 130 kW/290 Nm, which have a cruising range of 420 km and 401 km, respectively. It is said that each model can go from 0 to 100 km/h in 10.9 seconds and 7.5 seconds, respectively.
The 44.9 kWh BYD LFP Blade battery pack is connected to the engine of the BYD Dolphin electric car. The EV can be charged quickly with a 60kW charger.
Inside the BYD Dolphin EV, there is a flat-bottomed multi-function steering wheel, a 5-inch full LCD instrument panel, and a 12.8-inch floating central control screen. The electric car has a heated front seat, a passenger seat that can be adjusted electronically in four ways, a driver seat that can be adjusted electronically in six ways, and a rear centre armrest with a cup holder.
