According to the source, as many as seven theatres in Berlin, Essen, Dammtor, Harburg, Hannover, Munich, and Offenbach are expecting record numbers. A fan posted a screenshot of Pathaan’s booking in the country with the caption, “Advance booking for #Pathaan has begun in Germany, and it’s mayhem all over!! Berlin, Hamburg-Dammtor, Hamburg-Harburg, and Offenbach are nearly filled. The King of Overseas is coming y’all, on January 25th, 2023.”
Pathaan will receive great response worldwide
Despite the release being less than a month away, a source told Bollywood Hungama that “the shows have already begun to sell out in no time. It has sparked elation in the industry and trade. This demonstrates that Pathaan is a popular product that will receive a similar response in other nations, including India.”
Meanwhile, the much-anticipated film has been trailed by controversy since its first song, Besharam Rang, was released online. Some netizens and politicians objected to the use of the term “Besharam Rang” and Deepika’s saffron bikini in the song. Following the controversy, the CBFC advised the filmmakers to alter certain elements of the film and the ‘Besharam Rang’ song.
