England all-rounder Sam Curran has shared a shocking experience with an airline company. Curran stated that the airline company didn’t allow him to board a flight. Curran who recently became IPL’s most expensive player by fetching a whopping 18.5 crore bid from Punjab Kings has shared the details of the flight incident on Twitter.
Taking to Twitter, the 24-year-old stated that Virgin Atlantic airline denied him from travelling due to a broken seat issue. He termed the incident as “shocking and embarrassing”.
Airline replied
“Just turned up for a flight with @VirginAtlantic for them to tell me my seat is broken on the flight, therefore they’ve said I can’t travel on it. Absolutely crazy. Thanks, @VirginAtlantic. Shocking and embarrassing,” Curran wrote on Twitter.
Replying to his tweet, the airline wrote, “Hi Sam, I am so sorry to hear this – if you have a chat with our team at the help desk they will be more than happy to look into alternative flights for you. You can also send your feedback to our customer care team on customer.care@fly.virgin.com Sarah.”

Curran has been in the headlines in 2022 as apart from being IPL history’s most expensive player, he also won player of the tournament in the T20 World Cup in Australia where his English side managed to win the tournament after 12 years.
