Deepika Padukone birthday: Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone is celebrating her 37th birthday today. On this momentous occasion, Deepika’s Pathaan co-star Shah Rukh Khan has wished her with a new still from the film. Along with sharing the pic, Shah Rukh Khan also penned a heartwarming note to wish the birthday girl.

Shah Rukh Khan penned the loveliest for Deepika Padukone on latter’s birthday. The actor took to Instagram to unveil Deepika Padukone’s new still from the film and netizens are thrilled to see Deepika in a rugged avatar. She is seen dressed in a green tank top paired with green cargos. She has blood stains all over her face and her right hand has marks while she holds a gun in her left hand. She has a satisfactory expression on her face. Going by the looks of it, Deepika’s new still appears to be taken right after an action sequence.

Besharam Rang controversy
Deepika Padukone was recently at the helm of a controversy over Pathaan song Besharam Rang. Deemed obscene right left and centre, many nationalist have sought against the saffron bikini that Deepika donned in one of the song sequence.
About Pathaan
Pathaan will release in theatres on January 25. Directed by Sidharth Anand, the film features Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in pivotal roles. The film marks Shah Rukh Khan’s return to the big screen after four years.
