Fog Update: Fog is predicted to become less intense as North India prepares for reprieve from the coldwave. Although IMD has forecasted that rain and hailstorms will continue to disrupt everyday life in the area, it is most probable that the fog will dissipate as we get closer to February. However, today’s mornings will be just somewhat foggy, and the cool weather will persist.
Numerous trains and planes were delayed as a result of the dense fog’s impact on vision. There may be isolated patches of thick fog in West Bengal, Sikkim, Odisha, Bihar, and Tripura, as well as potential cold wave conditions in Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh.
Delhi
As per the latest fog update, the national capital is most likely to see clearer night in contrast to previous days. However, the early mornings will still be engulfed in the blanket of fog. IMD predicts the visibility to be around 600 metres, which is then most likely to improve upto 1500 metres.
Lucknow
Uttar Pradesh’s capital city is most likely to remain under moderate fog in the morning. IMD has predicted the visibility to be 400 metre in the early morning hours today. It will, however, improve as the noon approaches.
