Ducati: Two of Ducati’s motorcycles, the Desert X and the Diavel V4, now have an essential feature. Turn-by-turn navigation is a function that is already present on many bikes and scooters sold in large quantities in India. Turn-by-Turn navigation is becoming more and more popular, especially on long-distance motorcycles (adventure, touring, and adventure-touring), and the DesertX models from Ducati’s 2023 model year will be the first to incorporate this capability.
Ducati’s Turn by Turn navigation system details
Directions will be transmitted to the bike’s TFT display by the navigation system from the Ducati Link app on the rider’s smartphone. The functionality is not a standard but can be bought as an additional feature.
The rider must link the official Ducati smartphone app to the motorcycle’s instrument panel for this feature to function. The rider must enter the destination and start settings on the app after connecting. The bike’s instrument cluster will then display turn-by-turn navigation along with an ETA and the distance to the next turn after this process is complete.
