All has not been well with Nawazuddin Siddiqui and his wife Aaliya Siddiqui for a while now. The couple is once again making headlines for their tumultuous relationship. Last month, Nawaz’s mother, Mehrunisa Siddiqui, had filed an FIR (First Information Report) against the actor’s wife. Following his mother’s complaint, Mumbai’s Versove Police had called Alia for questioning in the matter. It is reported that Aaliya’s lawyer made some shocking revelations as he claimed that Nawazuddin’s family is torturing Aaliyah, keeping her deprived of necessities as basic as food, bed and access to toilet.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s lawyer hits back
After Aaliya’s scathing allegations, Nawazuddin’s lawyer Nadeem Zafar Zaidi held a press conference to address the feud between the actor’s wife and his family. Revealing that Nawazuddin has moved out of his home and is already living in a hotel, Nadem alleged that she Aaliya hasn’t divorced her first husband Vinay Bhargav. He said that she is still married to him despite tying the knot with the actor in 2001.
The actor’s lawyer told reporters in Delhi, “In 2001, Aaliya aka Anjali Kumari, an 8th class fail, married Vinay Bhargav. Then she came to Mumbai and became Anjana Pandey, then Anjana Anand in 2010. Then she became Zainab and converted to Islam. After that she married Nawazuddin and divorced him in 2011 with mutual consent. But when Nawazuddin’s career skyrocketed, she again came into his life as Aaliya. In 2020 she sent him a divorce notice which makes no sense as the two had already separated.”
He further claimed, “Anjana had another love marriage with a man named Rahul in 2008-2009, and the two also lived together in a flat in Goregaon, Mumbai. Due to Anjana’s ambition to become big, they formed a gang, which includes one of Anjana’s sisters, Archana Pandey. Anjana Pandey was fulfilling her ambition by living in Mumbai, while in Jabalpur, Vinay Bhargav married Anjana’s sister. Archana Bhargav is already the wife of Rajkumar Shukla and there was no divorce between the two. Vinay Bhargav also registered Anjana’s name as his wife in the railway department which was found during scrutiny of the records. Together, all three cheated the railway department and got the benefit of the facilities of the railways.”

Nawazuddin and Aaliya tied the knot in 2010. The now estranged couple has two children together. Aaliya had filed for divorce for him in 2020 and also lodged a police complaint against him. Months later, Aaliya called off the divorce and decided to give their marriage another chance, sharing Naaxuddin has started giving her and her children required attention.
