Ranbir Kapoor: After the success of the song Tere Pyaar Mein from the upcoming film Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar starring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor, the makers released another peppy number Pyaar Hota Kayi Baar Hai on Friday. And RK fans were immediately reminded of Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani’s ‘Badtameez Dil’ after watching its video.

The song has Ranbir flexing his dance moves, which he hasn’t done in a few years now. Composed by Pritam and written by Amitabh Bhattacharya, the song has been sung by Arijit Singh. The trio has given us a lot of popular numbers featuring Ranbir, the most recent one being Brahmastra’s ‘Kesariya’. The TJMM song will be of great significance to the lovelorn singles. Ranbir Kapoor is giving out the ‘Badtameez Dil’ vibes in the song.

The new song also features Anubhav Bassi, who stars alongside Kapoor in the film. Ranbir had previously mentioned at the Red Sea International Film Festival in Jeddah that the Luv Ranjan directorial would be his last romcom. The film has Shraddha Kapoor opposite Ranbir.
After TJMM, it’s Animal
Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar is Ranbir’s first release of 2023. Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal with Rashmika Mandanna will release in August. Ranbir will be seen in a new avatar.
In 2021 Ranbir marked his big return with Shamshera and Brahmastra. Both films failed to impress critics but the makers of Brahmastra claimed that they made over Rs 400 crore worldwide on the film. The film was promoted as a trilogy but any official announcement about the sequel is yet to be made.
Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar releases on March 8.
