Babul Supriyo, a Trinamool Congress leader and minister for Bengal, was admitted to the hospital on Monday after complaining of severe chest pain and discomfort. According to medical reports, Babul Supriyo also experienced extreme uneasiness and heavy sweating.
The officials claimed that as soon as the singer-turned-politician was admitted to a hospital in Kolkata, he was had to undergo medical examinations.
The Woodland Multispeciality Hospital in Kolkata, where Babul Supriyo is being treated, stated in a statement that “the echocardiogram was within normal ranges but the ECG showed mild alterations.”
The 52-year-old MLA from Ballygunge will be released later this evening, according to hospital sources who were speaking to the media.
