Design
The new vehicle will feature a high ground clearance and a boxy profile from the outside, giving it a crossover appearance. The radiator grille will have a cascading shape typical of Hyundai’s aesthetic language, and the front end will be distinguished by split headlights and LED DRLs. Round taillamps with a split design will be mounted on the back. Even more features of the vehicle include flush-fitting door handles on the C-pillar, diamond-cut mag wheels, shark-fin antennae, and roof rails. Overall, despite its small size, the micro SUV is destined to be cutting-edge and have a presence on the road.
The Punch, on the other hand, embodies Tata Motors’ cutting-edge design language, with LED daytime running lights (DRLs) mounted on the bonnet and the main headlamp cluster placed below. The rugged skid plate establishes a sturdy stance similar to that of an SUV, and the bonnet is upright. The stylish alloy wheels also add to the Punch’s attractive side profile, which also features black side pillars, roof rails, and a rear door handle on the C pillar.
Price in India
The Hyundai Casper is expected to start around Rs 6 lakhs, whereas the Tata Punch has retailed from Rs 6 lakh to Rs 9.47 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
