The wedding ceremony of Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra at Suryagarh, Jaisalmer, was a fairytale come true. The actors, who had previously worked together in Shershaah, tied the knot on February 7, 2023, and celebrated with grand receptions in Delhi and Mumbai. Their love story began when they met at the wrap-up party of Kiara’s 2018 film Lust Stories and later got to work together in Shershaah. They fell in love while filming the movie, but kept their relationship under wraps. Now that they are married, the couple has opened up about their life together.
Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra talked about their marriage
In a recent interview with News18, Sidharth Malhotra spoke about Shershaah and how he feels that he and Kiara were meant to be together. He said, “It felt like the real Vikram and Dimple, in some parallel universe, came together. Shershaah has given me so much love and a wife too, so what else do you need from a film? (laughs) I think it was meant to be. Much like us, Vishal Batra (Vikram Batra’s twin brother) was extremely emotional and happy when he came to our wedding.”
Kiara Advani also talked about her life after marriage and how happy she is. She blushed as she said, “The glow is real. This new life is wonderful. I’m very happy.” Sidharth Malhotra added that Shershaah will always hold a special place in his heart and that the reel life romance between the two actors turned into a real-life marriage through the film.
