Amazon Echo Dot 5th Generation: In India, Amazon has finally released the fifth-generation Echo Dot smart speaker. It has a similar appearance to the old speaker in terms of design, but when it comes to specifications, it features a motion-sensing feature. Moreover, a temperature sensor has been found in it that can be used to provide data on the temperature in the immediate area. Amazon Echo Dot 5th Generation
The 5th generation model of Amazon’s Echo Dot speaker still shares many of its design cues with the last model, however, the newer one is heavier than the previous one. Connecting this speaker to the Alexa voice assistant app enables use by Android and iOS users equally. Large audio drivers for immersive sound are included with the speaker, along with dual-band Wi-Fi. But it does not have a 3.5mm audio jack. A temperature sensor with ultrasonic motion detection is also included.
Price in India and colours
While being offered for only Rs 4,999 as part of an introductory offer, this most recent 5th Gen speaker actually costs Rs 5,499, according to Amazon. Also, as soon as this speaker is released, deals ranging from significant savings to cashback are available. When it comes to colour, the speaker has been shown in Black, Blue, and White.
