The engine power of the 645cc DOHC 90-degree V-Twin motor has decreased by 0.3PS and 0.3Nm to 70.7PS and 62Nm as a result of the motor now meeting BS6 emission standards. Nothing else has changed on the BS6 bike but the motor improvements. A 43mm telescopic fork and connected mono-shock with preload and rebound damping control handle the suspension as it rolls on wire-spoke wheels in a 19-inch/17-inch combination. Dual 320mm discs up front are bitted by two-piston callipers, while a single 260mm disc is held on by a single-piston calliper in the rear.
Features
Similar to the larger V-Strom 1000, the Suzuki V-Strom 650 has a similar design. ADV elements like a front beak and a large windscreen are included, and it has an industrial look. Because the pillion seat and the rear luggage rack are levels, you can easily transport larger goods. The exhaust is also lowered so that the panniers may fit flush against the bodywork. The panel’s overall quality, fit, and finish are excellent. Halogen bulbs are used to light the headlamps, which are stacked vertically, while LED taillamps are standard. We receive the off-road focused V-Strom XT model whereas Suzuki offers the V-Strom in two variations abroad. This one has knuckle guards, a belly pan, and 19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoked wheels with tubeless off-road-oriented tyres. Moreover, a tall windscreen with three settings is included. While the seat height is a very lofty 835mm, the ground clearance is 170mm. Suzuki provides five accessories for the V-Strom 650 XT: an engine crash bar, main stand, chain guard, low seat, and a 55-litre top box that can easily accommodate two full-size helmets.
Price in India
The starting price of the Suzuki V-Strom 650XT is Rs. 8.88 Lakh (Ex-Showroom). Just the STD variant of the Suzuki V-Strom 650XT is available. The price of the explorer edition is unknown as of right now as we do not know if it will be offered in India or not.
