Two of the leading intellectual stalwarts of Aam Aadmi Party, Atishi Malrena and Saurabh Bhardwaj were inducted as minsters in Arvind Kejriwal’s Cabinet.

Saurabh Bhardwaj has taken charge of health, urban development , water and industries portfolios, whereupon Atishi has taken charge of education , PWD, power and tourism departments.

Saurabh Bhardwaj
For Saurabh Bhardwaj, this has been the second time that he will serve as a Minister in the Arvind Kejriwal’s cabinet. He was transport minister in the 2013 AAP led government.
Bhardwaj is Computer Science graduate from Bharati Vidyapeeth’s college affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. He also has a bachelor degree in law from Osmania University. Before joining the field of politics, Bhardwaj worked with Johnsons Controls India, and his expertise was in microchips and coding. He started his career as a software engineer in Invensys.
Atishi Malrena
Atishi Malrena is a St. Stephens graduate , who went to Oxford University and in 2003, completed her master’s degree in History on a Chevening scholarship. Since 2013, she has been involved in policy formulation of Aam Aadmi Party. She has also spearheaded the flagship Mohalla Sabha Project for the Government of NCT of Delhi and has worked as education department advisor under Manish Sisodia.
Elevation of two AAP MLA’s to the Delhi Cabinet has been possible due to sudden resignation of Manish Sisodia and VK Jain.
