Mercedes-Benz India: Mercedes-Benz India, the biggest luxury automaker in the nation, stated today that starting on April 1, its prices will rise by up to 5%. The entire portfolio would see the price increase.
The company claims that the depreciation of the rupee in relation to the euro and rising input prices, notably those related to logistics, have had a substantial impact on its overall operational costs.
“In order to offset some of these costs, a combination of these reasons led Mercedes-Benz India to increase the ex-showroom pricing of its model lineup. In order to maintain a profitable firm while bearing large expenditures, part of it will be passed on to the customers “The business stated.
These SUVs price will witness an upward revision of Rs 2 lakh
A-Class limousine and GLA SUV costs will increase by Rs 2 lakh, the S 350d limousine by Rs 7 lakh, and the Maybach S 580 luxury limousine by Rs 12 lakh, all of which are Mercedes-Benz vehicles.
“The most recent model lineup from Mercedes-Benz includes cutting-edge technology, linked services, opulent amenities, and distinctive customer service. Continual currency depreciation coupled with rising input costs have increased operational costs, requiring a pricing adjustment, “Mercedes-Benz India’s managing director and CEO is Santosh Iyer.
