Honda Cars: Reports say that Honda Cars India would release one new car per year for the next three to five years to grow its market share in the country’s market, which is always getting more and more demanding. Since there will be tighter emission rules starting next month, the Japanese company had to get rid of many of its models, and it only sells two now. The Honda City, WR-V tiny crossover, Jazz premium hatchback, Amaze compact sedan with diesel power, and City midsize sedan from the fourth generation are no longer for sale. The Amaze comes with a 1.2L four-cylinder NA gasoline engine, while the City has a 1.5L four-cylinder NA gasoline engine and a 1.5L strong hybrid gasoline engine.
They changed the front end and added some features
Honda just gave the City a facelift. They changed the front end and added some features to make the current generation last longer. It costs between Rs. 11.49 lakh for the most basic model and Rs. 15.97 lakh for the most expensive model. (ex-showroom). After the City gets a new look, a brand-new midsize SUV will come out.
Using the same platform as the fifth-generation City will be a big deal for the brand. The five-seater has already been seen testing on public roads, and by the middle of this year, it will make its world debut. Kunal Behl, Honda Cars India’s VP of marketing and sales, has announced that a new model will be released in H1 FY2024.
Plan to release one new model every year
