Britain’s Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle are expecting their second child. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex shared the good news on Sunday via their spokesperson. The baby will be the younger sibling to the couple’s son Archie Harrison, who will turn 2 on May 6.
“We can confirm that Archie is going to be a big brother,” the spokesman said, referring to the couple’s son. “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are overjoyed to be expecting their second child.”
The pregnancy announcement was accompanied by a happening black and white picture of the couple wherein they both were all smiles while Meghan showing signs of pregnant belly.
No post was made regarding the couple’s pregnancy by the Royal Family as the couple had left their titles in April last year.
Denouncing their royal duties in 2020, the couple had moved with their son Archie to Southern California to live a more independent life after being attacked constantly by the British media.
The development Meghan’s revelation to The New York Times about suffering miscarriage during lockdown. In the piece, titled ‘The Losses We Share’, Meghan had shared the almost unbearable grief and her coping mechanism.
“Losing a child means carrying an almost unbearable grief, experienced by many but talked about by few,” she had said.
