After Russian President Vladimir, another friend of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in the shelter of Chinese President Xi Jinping. French President Emmanuel Macron is currently on a visit to China. Macron reached China on Thursday and was given a red carpet welcome here. Some people have doubts about whether Macron has reached here to appeal to Jinping, whether it will be successful or not. Macron wants Jinping not to support Russia in the Ukraine war.
China will find a way to peace
In the speech given by Macron in Beijing, he said that China and Ukraine can play a big role in finding a way of peace in the war. Along with this, the French President welcomed China’s move in which Jinping has expressed his desire to find a solution to the war. Macron has reached China on a three-day visit. Jinping and his handshake are captured in pictures outside Beijing’s Great Hall.
Jinping welcomed Macron on the red carpet with the flags of China and France. Along with this, the national anthems of both the countries were also being played during this time. After reaching China, Mancro told the media, ‘China is not interested in permanent war and in such a situation it can play a major role in ending it.’
China’s stance neutral
Because of the Ukraine war on China, the pressure from the western countries is increasing. However, till now China’s stand in this war is neutral and it has not condemned Russia for the attack. Recently, when Jinping reached Moscow, he confirmed the strong relations between the two countries after meeting with Putin. Whereas till now Jinping has not spoken on the phone with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskary.
French President Macron was accompanied by European Commission Chief Ursula von der Leyen. Macron wants Ursula to be Europe’s voice on Ukraine.
