Air India: After a rowdy customer got into a fight with the crew mid-flight, an Air India flight headed for London was forced to return to Delhi. Due to a rowdy passenger, the airline made a quick return to Delhi. According to a statement from Air India, the flight has been rescheduled to arrive in London this afternoon. Apparently the guy was aggressive and assaulted two members of the cabin crew. At 6.35 am, the Air India flight departed from Delhi. After a while, a fight broke out, causing the aircraft to return to Delhi. About 9.40 am, the plane touched down in Delhi again.
Air India returned to Delhi shortly after takeoff
The airline turned over the disorderly passenger to the police after filing a complaint about the event with the Delhi Airport Police. “Due to a passenger’s seriously disruptive behavior, Air India flight AI 111, which was scheduled to fly from Delhi to London Heathrow on April 10, 2023, returned to Delhi shortly after takeoff. The passenger proceeded with his disorderly behaviour despite verbal and written warnings, inflicting physical harm on two members of the cabin crew,” according to a statement from Air India.

The aircraft has been rescheduled to depart for London
The passenger was turned over to security officers upon landing when the pilot in charge decided to fly back to Delhi, according to the airline. “The police have also received a FIR. At Air India, we value everyone on board in terms of their safety, security, and dignity. We are offering the impacted crew members every form of assistance. The aircraft has been rescheduled to depart for London this afternoon out of our apology for the difficulty we caused the customers.”
