A police complaint was lodged against Bollywood singer and rapper Honey Singh on Thursday For allegedly kidnapping and assaulting an event organiser in Maharashtra’s Mumbai, officials said. A person Vivek Raman has submitted a complaint against Honey Singh and others at the BKC police station in Mumbai claiming Honey Singh kept him captive and assaulted him in a hotel in Mumbai.
Honey Singh booked for kidnapping, assaulting man
The man in his complaint has claimed that the singer kidnapped, kept him captive, and assaulted him in a hotel located in the suburbs of the city, the Mumbai Police said.
According to the complaint lodged on April 19, the complainant, Raman, had organised a programme for the singer at Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) in Mumbai on April 15. Due to errors in the money transaction, the event had to be canceled.
The man who has identified himself as an organiser in his complaint to BKC police claimed that Honey Singh was miffed by the cancellation of the event. Following this, the singer and his associates abducted him, held him hostage at a hotel in Mumbai, and assaulted him.

Meanwhile, Honey Singh was recently in use for his break up with his girlfriend Tina Thadani. The two have also unfollowed each other on social media and also deleted their pictures together.
An industry insider close to the two stars told the leading publication that, “they wanted different things in life. While they are currently dealing with the breakup maturely, both need time to heal. Tina is heartbroken currently and trying to focus on her work. Honey is not shy about talking about the breakup. He has informed everyone about it.”
Honey Singh and Tina Thadani had begun dating last year in April, a year after his divorce from wife Shalini Talwar.
