CSK vs PBKS IPL 2023: MS Dhoni and last ball hits are synonyms with each other. Fans, irrespective of the venue, wait for MS Dhoni to walk on the crease and hit blistering shots. In today’s match against PBKS, Thala Dhoni did the same and fulfilled the crowd’s by hitting two maximums on the last two ball of the innings.
MS Dhoni hits two sixes on two balls
CSK had won the toss and chose to bat first in the match. It was a classic batting display by CSK batters as they marched to 185/3 in 19 overs. However, the crowd was waiting for the entry of everyone’s favourite MS Dhoni. Just on the first ball of the last over, Jadeja was caught out and dismissed for a score of 12 off 10 balls. Finally, MSD walked on the crease with huge roar from the crowd.
Dhoni had scored 1 run on his first ball as the strike went to Devon Conway. The latter also pulled off a single on the fourth ball and eventually gave the strike to Dhoni. Sam Curran bowled the fifth ball, outside off and MS Dhoni slammed it straight to the backward point. The crowd went on their feet as the ball sailed to stands. The next ball, came at full-toss over stumps, and Dhoni swung it hard to midwicket. It was a typical MS Dhoni six that made the entire crowd go berserk. CSK ended up with a score fo 200/4 runs in 20 overs.
