Hero Vida V1: There is excellent news for you if you are considering purchasing an electric scooter from Hero. Hero has reduced the cost of its Vida V1 electric scooter by Rs 25,000, bringing its starting price to Rs 1.20 lakh. The top-tier Vida V1 electric scooter now costs Rs 1.40 lakh. This model now costs Rs 19,000 less than previously. This includes the Fame 2 subsidy and portable charger, which was previously sold separately.
Hero Vida V1 price cut
The prices of the Vida electric scooter have been significantly reduced by Hero MotoCorp. In cooperation with its co-brand Vida, the business debuted the e-scooter in October 2022. At a cost of Rs. 1.45 lakh, Hero unveiled the Vida V1 Plus EV. This e-scooter can now be purchased in Delhi for Rs. 1.20 lakh following the price reduction. At a cost of Rs. 1.50 lakh, the business unveiled the top-tier Vida V1 Pro model. This e-scooter is now offered in Delhi showrooms for Rs. 1.40 lakh, ex-showroom, following the price reduction.
The reason behind the price cut
Major electric vehicle producers have been exposed for violating FAME II subsidies from the Ministry of Heavy Industries (MHI) by upselling portable chargers as extras. As a result, businesses including Ola Electric, Ather Energy, TVS Motor, and most recently Hero MotoCorp, have promised to compensate customers who purchased chargers along with the two-wheeled electric vehicle.
Because of the initial expensive pricing for Vida, sales were comparatively modest when compared to other products. Prices that are more reasonable and available in more than 100 cities may increase sales. The scooter’s batteries can be removed with Vida, which is an added bonus.
