Google Pixel Tablet: Samsung, Apple, and now Google have a monopoly on the tablet market. In addition to the Pixel 7a and Pixel Fold, the Google Pixel Tablet was also unveiled at Google I/O 2023. The first tablet from the brand is the Google Pixel Tablet. In this article, we will tell you all you need to know about this amazing tablet.
Google Pixel Tablet specifications
The 11-inch LCD screen on Google’s Pixel Tablet is a nice touch. Along with touch capabilities and stylus compatibility, the display has a Full-HD+ resolution of 2560×1600 and a typical refresh rate of 60Hz. In order to give consumers a secure grasp and avoid unintentional touches, the display’s large bezels were designed. In contrast to Apple’s iPads, which have front cameras that are oriented in portrait, this device has an 8-megapixel unit that is oriented horizontally. With a 27Wh battery and up to 12 hours of playback time advertised, the Pixel Tablet is powered by the Tensor G2 SoC.
As a Google product, the Pixel Tablet will operate on the Android operating system, possibly starting with Android 13. Users should therefore expect specific functionality for the Pixel, both for photography and productivity needs. For this form factor, some Google applications have also been enhanced.
The Pixel Tablet’s 8-megapixel camera is housed on its rear panel, which has a ceramic-like surface. However, some potential customers may be disappointed by the absence of an LED flash.
The tablet has a number of amazing features, including support for Wi-Fi 6, a quad-speaker system, three microphones, a USB-C charging connector, a fingerprint scanner on the side, and a quad-speaker setup. Google has also added a hub that can be used as a speaker, turning the Pixel Tablet into a portable gadget akin to the Amazon Echo Show. The hub doubles as a power source, and the Pixel Tablet may be transformed into a digital picture frame.
Price
The Google Pixel Tablet starts at $499, or roughly Rs. 40,000. The tablet’s 128 GB storage variant is priced at this amount. Pre-orders for the Google Pixel Tablet are now open in the US, Canada, UK, France, Denmark, Japan, and Australia. There won’t be any Google Pixel Tablet sales in India. The charging station will be complimentary with the tab.
