Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar on Thursday met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Lucknow. The actor is currently shooting for his upcoming film “Ram Setu” in Ayodhya. The action-adventure drama features Akshay in the role of an archaeologist. The film has been helmed by Parmanu fame Abhishek Sharma.
The film is bankrolled by Akshay’s home production Cape of Good Films, Abundantia Entertainment, Lyca Productions and Amazon Prime Video jointly.

Recently, it was reported that the actor has planned to shoot muhurat shot in Ayodhya. While a considerable part of the film will be shot in Ayodhya, more than 80 per cent will be shot in Mumbai.
Earlier, in 2020, the actor had met the UP CM to seek his permission in Ayodhya where the Ram Mandir construction is currently underway.
Meanwhile, in September, last year, the CM had expressed intentions to set up the country’s ‘biggest’ film city in the Gautam Buddha Nagar district, including the twin cities of Noida and Greater Noida.
