PM Modi Rally in Bengal: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday gave a befitting reply to allegations of being “outsiders” on BJP leaders of the Trinamool Congress, citing the example of its parliamentary constituency Varanasi. Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has often targeted the BJP for being an outsider. Two-phase elections have been held in the West Bengal Assembly Election 2021 and six phases are yet to be held. The verbal war between the BJP and TMC has intensified. PM Modi took a sarcasm at Mamta Banerjee and said, “Didi, you have lost Bengal, welcome to Varanasi.”
PM said- ‘Didi’s party is now saying that Mamta will now contest Lok Sabha elections from Varanasi. This makes two things clear. For one, Didi has accepted her defeat in Bengal. Second- Didi is now looking to find a place for herself outside Bengal. I have only one request from you, do not be angry with the people of Banaras and the people of UP. The people of UP-Banaras have given me so much love, they will also give you a lot of affection, Didi. ‘
‘Banarasi big hearted, won’t call you an outsider’
The Prime Minister continued to criticize Mamata Banerjee. He said- ‘Well, after losing the assembly, try it in the Lok Sabha, Didi. Here the waterway from Haldia to Varanasi has been developed by our government, it will help you. I will tell you one more thing. People of my Banaras, people of UP are so big-hearted that you will not be called an outsider or a tourist.
‘TMC Mane Taka-Mar-Company’ –
Modi said- ‘Didi, trust the people of Bengal. It has been decided that you will now have to leave ‘Nabanna’ along with Taka-Mar-Company ie TMC. ‘
