Nawazuddin Siddiqui:Nawazuddin shares old memories:Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui shared experiences of his acting career when he just moved to Mumbai. The actor said he sometimes looked back on how he was being mistreated on film sets when he was a newcomer. The actor also shared that he was often disrespected by the crew members and Producers when he was offered small roles in the Industry. He said he struggled for several years before he started working with Anurag Kashyap. He was sometimes not being paid for doing a lot of work way back when he was a beginner.
Actor shares struggling days of his career
He recalled that he was roughed up for wanting to eat with the senior actors. Many a times he was fuelled by the ego and could not stand the disrespect. In an interview, he shared that he felt disrespected on the sets when he was not a big name and trying to fit in the industry. Also , he said a lot of times when he used to ask for water from the spot boy on the sets, they used to ignore his requests, and then he managed to get it himself. He shared that he faced a lot of discrimination as the junior artists used to eat separately and the senior artists used to eat on one side, while the supporting artists used to have their own personal space, and the main leads were also separated.
‘I had a hard time in Bollywood’
While recalling the days of his struggle, he said that many a times he was not being paid for a lot of work.Even after putting a lot of hard work, his work wasn’t appreciated. He used to move from one production house to the other because he wanted to build a career and not give up. The actor was last seen in a film called Jogira sa ra ra ra .
