Ather Energy: For clients looking to purchase an electric scooter, Ather Energy has launched a financing option. With the help of this plan, buying a new EV is now simple. To boost EV sales, Ather Energy, an e-scooter manufacturer with headquarters in Bengaluru, has unveiled a vehicle financing programme. This new loan programme has a 60-month term, or a 5-year duration. The launch of a 5-year finance plan for the convenience of the clients is a first for the EV market.

The FAME-II scheme’s EV subsidy programme recently underwent a revision. Following that, the prices of all the companies’ EV products were raised. Ather (Ather 450), a stylish electric scooter, is currently priced at Rs. 1.48 lakh (Ex-showroom) in India. A FAME II Following the change in the subsidy rate, the cost of the Ather 450 e-scooter has gone up by Rs 20,000. This loan scheme, or finance plan, has been created by Ather for a duration of 5 years, it is stated, for the convenience of the consumers.
The nation’s first electric two-wheeler credit plan from Ather Energy has a 60-month term and was launched in collaboration with IDFC First, Bajaj Credit, and Hero FinCorp. It is anticipated that more banks and retail financiers will collaborate to strengthen this firm project. Customers would be required to make monthly EMI payments under the new EV finance plan the company has introduced. The electric scooter’s first monthly amount under Ather’s financing programme will be Rs 2,999.

A BLDC motor that generates a maximum power output of 5.4 kW (7.24 bhp) and 20.5 Nm of torque powers the electric scooter. While the top speed is only 80kmph, acceleration from 0 to 40kmph takes just 3.9 seconds. 2.4 kWh of lithium-ion batteries power the electric motor. Depending on the mode picked, the range will change. While Ride and Sport are said to return 65km/charge and 55km/charge, respectively, while Eco can travel up to 75km on a single charge.
