Jai Prakash: As the chasm between the BJP and JJP leaders over the Uchana assembly seat in Haryana widens, former Union minister and Congress leader Jai Prakash added fuel to the fire. He said on Wednesday there was a “hole in the alliance” and that the saffron party would push the JJP out of government in the coming days.
JP was accompanying Rajya Sabha MP and Congress leader Deepender Hooda to various programmes in Hisar when he made the observation.
‘BJP-JJP alliance unnatural’
He said the alliance between the BJP and JJP was anti-people Both parties got together only to loot the heritage of Haryana. They have cheated the people of Uchana, JP said.
The Congress leader added that when Birender Singh joined the BJP he claimed his ministerial post was bigger than that of the railway minister. But within no time he started neglecting Uchana. There has been no development work in the constituency. Even Deputy CM Dushyant Chautala has always neglected Uchana, he said.
‘Hooda to lead Cong in Haryana’
JP said Congress will contest the coming election in Haryana under the leadership of Deepende Hooda. He slammed Abhay Chautala for unnecesaily maligning Hooda and threaten him of arrest. The Congress leader asked Chautala to justify his attacks on Hooda and prove give evidence if he has any.
Further, he said JJP and INLD are around only as vote cutters and people should stay away from them.
