In Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, a guy allegedly killed his lover and hid her body in a tank at his under-constuction home. The body of the victim, named as 35-year-old Raj Kesar, was found on Friday at the residence of the accused, Arvind, in the Mahewa neighbourhood within the jurisdiction of the Yamunapar Karchhana police station.
Station House Officer (SHO) Vishwajeet Singh verified to news agency PTI that Arvind murdered Kesar approximately a fortnight ago and hid her body in a tank at his home.
On May 30, Kesar’s family reported her missing. Arvind was detained and questioned based on information from her phone’s call history. Arvind killed Kesar, according to the authorities, about 14 days ago.
According to him, the body has been sent for a post-mortem examination.
