The 999cc inline four-cylinder engine has been updated internally, its compression has been boosted, and it has a lightweight titanium exhaust system. In turn, this increases power output to 212PS at 14500rpm and peak torque to 113Nm at 11000rpm.
In terms of electronic rider aids the bike comes with four riding modes as standard equipment: Rain, Road, Dynamic, and Race. Pro riding modes (Race Pro 1-3) are available as options. According to the rider’s preferences, the Pro modes can be freely programmed to change the throttle response, engine braking, traction control, wheelie control, ABS, and ABS Pro. Launch control and a pit-lane limiter are also accessible in the “Pro Modes.”
Features
A 6.5-inch TFT screen is available for the BMW M 1000 RR. The “Competition” trim adds a GPS-based lap timer, a passenger kit, a rear seat cowl, the M BilletPack (Engine Protectors, foldable clutch lever, M rider footrest system, carbon upper and lower fairing, side panels, tank cover, chain guard, and sprocket cover), and an anti-theft alarm.
Price in India
As only the teaser has been published, prices haven’t been released yet. Nevertheless, anticipate this to cost more than the previous model, which had an ex-showroom price of Rs 42 lakh.
