Honda Cars: Honda Motor, which is one of the top-rated automobile and motorcycle manufacturing companies, has announced a recall for its more than 1 million cars globally due to issues with rear cameras and faulty coaxial cable connectors. According to NHTSA – National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, millions of cars have been affected by this move.
The recalled cars by the company are Odyssey, Honda Pilot Car, etc. This move came once it was noticed that the rear camera image is not displaying due to a faulty communication coaxial cable connector. These recalled cars include US vehicles in Canada and 16000 in Mexico. Earlier, Honda Motors had extended the warranty of this car due to the same rear camera image issue around 2 years ago.

Customers Can Be Notified About This “Recall” Move
Cars, which are affected highly by this move can be given notification from 24th July. Apart from this, car owners can also reach out to the officials to resolve whatever issue they have. For help, National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) can be contacted through its official helpline number. This 1-888-327-4236 number can be dialed to seek help from the company.
Installation Of Improved Cable Harness
After recalling these cars, Honda dealerships can install rectified or enhanced cable harnesses, which will improve communication between display audio and vehicle terminal connections. This will also straighten the vehicle cable cover.
