According to officials, a man from Karnataka was detained after allegedly slitting his friend’s throat and drinking his blood because he thought the other was having an affair with his wife. The friend is recovering in a hospital.
An eyewitness in Chikkaballapur, Karnataka, captured the horrifying scene on camera.
According to the police, Vijay believed his friend Maresh was having an extramarital affair with his wife. On June 19, he made a work-related excuse for Maresh to meet with him.
As their disagreement got more heated, Vijay is accused of using a sharp-edged object to reportedly cut Mahesh’s throat. Vijay is seen holding his pal down and seemingly drinking his blood in a witness’ cell phone video.

Maresh is lying on the ground with his throat cut open as Vijay seems to question him. He queries his decision to kill him.
He may be seen stooping down and appearing to drink Maresh’s wounded throat. The injured man is also seen getting punched and slapped by Vijay.
After the terrifying video went viral on social media, the man was arrested. While Maresh is receiving treatment, a complaint of attempted murder has been filed against Vijay at the Kencharlahalli police station, according to officials.
According to the police, the weapon did not cause severe damage because it was little.
