J&K News:: In a major success for the Security Forces in Jammu and Kashmir, the forces have gunned down one terrorist in an encounter in the Kulgam district. One officer also got injured during the operation. The Security also recovered arms and ammunitions from the area where the operation took place. The NIA also raided four districts of the Jammu Kashmir area to search the hide outs of the Pakistan Backed Terrorist.

NIA conducted raids at 12 locations
The NIA also raided around 12 locations of Kulgam, Bandipora, Shopian and Pulwama during the raids. The Security Forces received the information of some Hybrid terrorists hiding in these locations. The encounter begin at the Hoowra village in the Kulgam district.
J&K Police: Operation Successful
The J&K police also tweeted, Encounter has started at Hoowra village of the Kulgam district. Police and security forces are on the job, one J&K Personnel also got injured. Operation in progress.
