Prime Minister Modi today addressed a public meeting in Shahdol, Madhya Pradesh. During this, the PM said in his address given among the people of the tribal society that for us tribals are not just a voter.
At the beginning of his address, PM Modi said, today I have got the privilege of coming among all of you on this holy land of Rani Durgavati ji. I dedicate my tribute at the feet of Rani Durgavati ji. With his inspiration, the Sickle Cell Anemia Mukti Mission campaign is being started today.
PM said, Ayushman cards are also being given to 1 crore beneficiaries in Madhya Pradesh today itself. The biggest beneficiaries of both these efforts are the people of our Gond society, Bhil society and other tribal societies.
Resolution to get rid of sickle cell anemia
Inaugurating the Sickle Cell Anemia Mukti Mission campaign, PM said that today the country is taking a big resolution. It is a resolution to make the lives of tribal brothers and sisters safe. The PM said that he has spent time among the people of tribal society. It is a pledge to save from sickle cell anemia.
This is a resolution to save the lives of 2.5 lakh children and their family members who come under the grip of sickle cell anemia every year.
