Neymar Jr.: The Brazilian star footballer always finds a way to land himself in some sort of trouble. On Monday, a Brazilian prosecutor fined the footballing sensation for 3.3 million dollars or 16 million reais or 28.6 crores INR over his lakehouse.
The PSG Star recently build a lakehouse in the town of Mangarabita. It is built on the coast of Rio De Janeiro, which is the capital of Brazil. The luxurious mansion has a spa, a heliport, a gym, and so many more facilities.
The mansion also has an artificial lake and because of that only, the footballer has landed himself in trouble. The artificial lake has violated several environmental laws of the state.
A Dozen Violations
The Mangaratiba’s environmental regulatory body stated that the construction of the mansion has violated at least dozens of environmental laws of the state. The authorities found the violations after several social media complaints were filed.
The spokesperson stated that some of the violation includes “carrying out work subject to environmental control without authorization,” capture and diversion of river water without authorization, and “removal of land and suppression of vegetation without authorization.”
The Brazilian authorities ordered the work on the mansion to be ceased after the complaints. But many reports have came outs stating that Neymar Jr. threw a party at the mansion even after the order.

The court has given Neymar 20 days to appeal the decision. The amount was set to one million dollars in the beginning. But the amount increased as new violations were found. So far, none of Neymar’s entourage has made a comment on the penalty.
The Brazilian star bought the house back in 2016 which is 107,000 square feet in terms of area. Neymar has not played a single match since February as he is recovering from injury. The star just posted an Instagram apology post for her girlfriend after cheating on her.
